Titanopsis hugo-schlechteri - 20 seeds

Titanopsis hugo-schlechteri is a mat-forming, stemless or very short-stemmed, multi-headed, rosette succulent with individual rosettes up to 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter. The leaves are crowded, up to 0.8 inches (2 cm) long with sculptured, triangular tips covered with pebbly, flattish bumps. The color of the leaves is very variable, from green, blue, grey, red to purple and the wart vary from white to reddish-brown. The flowers are small, daisy-like, and yellow to orange (occasionally pink) in color.

HOW TO GROW?

This species is easy to grow and clumps readily, forming a beautiful succulent mat. It needs moderate water when growing in late fall and early spring. Keep somewhat dry the rest of the time. Like all living rocks, they thrive in porous soils with excellent drainage. It can tolerate high heat and heavy frost (hardy to -10° C). It is a very rewarding succulent and can be cultivated in desert gardens in warm climates or in greenhouses or windowsills in the home. Enjoys bright shade in summer and full sun in the other seasons.
